Vaccination against brucellosis is underway throughout the state of São Paulo. Since July 1st, females from bovine and buffalo herds aged three to eight months must receive the mandatory immunization until December 31st. As it is a live vaccine, the application can only be carried out by a registered veterinarian, who, in addition to ensuring the correct execution of the procedure, also issues the vaccination certificate in the official system. The Agricultural Defense makes available the complete list of qualified professionals in all municipalities of São Paulo. The recommendation is that the producer schedule the immunization in advance to ensure compliance with the sanitary deadlines. After the application, the veterinarian has up to four days to register the certificate in the Animal and Plant Defense Management System (Gedave).
