The Vietnamese Minister also requested China to open its market to Vietnamese durian, sweet potatoes, grapefruit, and passion fruit. In response, the Chinese Director of Customs mentioned the progress on risk assessments for various products and the review of licenses for Vietnamese enterprises. The article also highlights Vietnam's appreciation for Chinese hybrid rice seeds and outlines the countries' complementary economies and significant agricultural trade, which reached an average annual growth rate of 15% from 2010 to 2019, despite the COVID-19 pandemic's impact.
