Vietnam is the world's eighth largest tea export market

In the first seven months of 2024, tea exports are expected to reach 78,000 tons and export value to reach US$135 million, an increase of 32.7% and 34.8% respectively compared with the same period in 2023. The average export price of tea reached US$1,727.7 per ton, up 1.6% from the same period in 2023. According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs, in the second quarter of 2024, Vietnam's tea exports reached 35,400 tons and the export value reached US$62.7 million, an increase of 32.7% and 34.8% respectively compared with the same period in 2023. In the second quarter of 2024, the average export price of tea reached US$1,772.4/ton, an increase of 3.2% over the second quarter of 2023.
