Vietnam maintains its position as the third-largest rice supplier to Singapore.

In the first half of 2025, Singapore's total imports of rice products (HS code 1006) from Vietnam amounted to 60.9 million Singapore dollars (approximately 330 million Chinese yuan), a decrease of 17.1% year-on-year, accounting for 24.5% of Singapore's total rice imports. According to the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the average export price of Vietnamese rice in the first half of 2025 was about 517.5 U.S. dollars per ton, down 18.4% from the same period in 2024.
