Vietnamese agricultural products, especially fruits and vegetables, are becoming increasingly popular in South Korea, with exports rising by 55% in the first half of the year to US$164 million. South Korea is now Vietnam's second-largest vegetable import market after China. Popular fruits among Korean consumers include mango, longan, dragon fruit, banana, pineapple, and durian. Overall, Vietnam's fruit and vegetable exports reached US$3.4 billion in the first half of 2024, marking a 28% year-on-year increase, driven by key markets such as China, Thailand, and South Korea.
