Vietnam's dragon fruit exports to China have decreased by 38% due to increased dragon fruit cultivation in China leading to oversupply and lower prices of Chinese products. Similarly, passion fruit exports have also decreased by 36.5% as China produces its own passion fruit, reducing its need for imports from Vietnam. Vietnam's longan exports are also affected as China now has new suppliers from Cambodia, and Vietnam has not been able to officially export coconuts to the Chinese market while Cambodia has. Overall, Vietnam's agricultural products such as avocado, mango, and jackfruit are at risk of losing market share to competitors. However, if Vietnam can take advantage of its geographical proximity to China and work on improving quality and scale, there is still a chance for Vietnamese products to compete.
