According to the Vietnam News Agency, Vietnam's lychee industry is set to experience significant growth in 2025. Data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development shows that the national lychee production is expected to reach 303,000 tons, representing a year-on-year increase of approximately 30%. This growth is primarily attributed to optimized cultivation techniques in major production areas and stable climate conditions. Among these regions, Bac Giang Province leads with 165,000 tons, accounting for 54.4% of the total national production; followed by Hai Duong Province (60,000 tons), Hung Yen Province (22,000 tons), Lang Son Province (22,000 tons), and Dak Lak Province (21,000 tons), forming a production landscape characterized by concentrated production in the northern regions and complementary specialized areas in the central and southern regions.
