Vietnam is emerging as a major source of food and flavors for the global market, with a focus on natural and eco-friendly spices and flavorings. The country's biodiversity and geographical advantages allow for the production of unique agricultural products. After recovering from the Covid-19 epidemic, Vietnam is encouraged to utilize new technology, diversify products, and benefit from free trade agreements to increase export opportunities. The Deputy Director of the Trade Promotion Department, Mr. Le Hoang Tai, and the Head of the Vietnam Trade Office in Saudi Arabia, Mr. Tran Trong Kim, discussed these opportunities and the potential for increased export turnover to Saudi Arabia, which reached 460 million USD in 2020 and 225 million USD in the first 7 months of 2021.
