Vietnam's agricultural, forestry, and aquatic product exports in 2025: Overcoming challenges and tapping into growth potential

Cultivating New Opportunities Amidst Challenges Chen Desheng, a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and acting minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, stated that despite the complex and changing regional and global situation, the import and export of agricultural, forestry, and fishery products remains a crucial pillar of the national economy, achieving comprehensive results. However, although Vietnam exports nearly 100 million tons of agricultural, forestry, and fishery products annually, the added value remains relatively low, primarily due to the reliance on imported raw materials.
