In September 2024, Vietnam saw a slight decrease in cashew nut exports volume-wise but an increase in value compared to the previous month and year. The country exported over 57 thousand tons of cashew nuts, earning 372.16 million USD. From January to September 2024, Vietnam's cashew nut exports volume and value significantly increased by 20.1% and 21.7% respectively, reaching 543.5 thousand tons and 3.15 billion USD. The average export price per ton also saw an increase in September 2024. Vietnam's cashew nut export markets varied, with increased exports to the US, Netherlands, UAE, UK, and Canada, but decreased exports to China, Germany, Australia, Saudi Arabia, and Spain. The exports primarily consisted of W320, W240, and W180 cashew nuts, with W320 exports reaching 207.42 thousand tons and valued at 1.27 billion USD in the first nine months of 2024.
