Vietnam's cashew nut imports from Tanzania increase sharply

The average price reached 1,765 USD/ton, up 56% compared to January 2024. In terms of market, in the first month of the year, Tanzania was the largest supplier of cashew nuts to Vietnam with more than 48 thousand tons, worth more than 88 million USD, up 113% in volume but up 200% in value compared to the same period. The average price was 1,826 USD/ton, up 40% compared to the same period last year. Ranked second among suppliers is the Indonesian market with 6,856 tons, worth more than 11 million USD, up 4% in volume and 52% in value over the same period.
