Vietnam's cassava exports hit a new record in January 2024, with a volume of 76,000 tons and a value of over US$19.9 million, marking a month-on-month increase of 369.6% and a year-on-year increase of 30.9%. China is the largest importer, accounting for 94% of the market share. The Vietnam Cassava Association aims to reach a cassava export value of 2 billion U.S. dollars by 2028 and 2.5 billion U.S. dollars by 2050.
