The export value of fruits and vegetables in Vietnam is expected to reach a record high of $5.5 billion in 2023, with durian being the key contributor. The opening of China's market and the signing of a protocol have boosted export momentum. Fruit and vegetable exports have already reached record highs, with durian accounting for the largest export volume, followed by jackfruit, mango, longan, grapefruit, and watermelon. Efforts are being made to increase trade promotion, improve product quality, and explore new markets to sustain the growth of the fruit and vegetable industry.
