Vietnam has seen success in exporting 48 of its 79 five-star OCOP products to high-end markets like the United States, Europe, and Japan, accounting for 60.7% of these products. These exports, including vermicelli, fish sauce, coffee, and cashews, have had a positive impact on the rural economy. The OCOP project has strengthened rural production, transitioned agriculture to an industrial chain, and protected labor-carrying industrial areas. There is high demand for these products in the international market, particularly among the Vietnamese community in Europe and America. Experts recommend consistent quality inspections and recalls of products that do not meet standards to maintain the reputation and brand value of OCOP products.
