Vietnam's pangasius exports to China in June hit highest level since the beginning of the year

According to the latest customs data from Vietnam, in the second quarter of 2024, the export value of Vietnamese pangasius to the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong markets reached 146 million US dollars, an increase of 6.5% over the same period in 2023. At the same time, the Hong Kong market alone imported more than 7 million US dollars of pangasius from Vietnam, a decrease of 11% over the same period last year. Mainland China and Hong Kong remain the largest consumer markets for Vietnamese pangasius, accounting for 28% of the total export value of the Vietnamese market.
