Vietnamese shrimp exports to the United States saw a decline in April, while exports to mainland China and Hong Kong experienced a slight growth. However, there was an improvement in exports to the European Union and South Korea. Exports to South Korea resumed growth in April, with a 4% increase. The export value to mainland China and Hong Kong for the first four months of the year increased by 41%, and to the European Union, it increased by 28%. Overall, Vietnamese shrimp exports increased by 10% year-on-year in the first four months, indicating a decrease in market inventory, but consumer demand has not yet shown significant recovery.
