Brazil saw a record export of 3.961 million 60 kg bags of coffee in January, marking a 39% increase from the same period in 2023. The sales revenue also rose by 30.4% to US$802.5 million, according to the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Council (Cecafé). The surge in exports is attributed to crop failures in Vietnam and Indonesia, which led to an increase in their imports of Brazilian coffee. Despite geopolitical conflicts and logistical challenges, the impact on Brazil's coffee shipments has been minimal.
