Voronezh Oblast is the fourth in the Russian Federation for milk production, livestock, and poultry for slaughter in agricultural organizations in 2025.

Production of this output amounted to 925.9 and 596.6 thousand tons, respectively. According to Rosstat, the production of chicken eggs in agricultural organizations of the Voronezh region in 2025 reached 854.8 million pieces. This is 73.9% higher than the level of 2024. The average egg production per laying hen increased by 7.7% to 306 eggs. The gross milk yield in agricultural organizations of the region amounted to 925.9 thousand tons, which is 1.7% more than a year earlier. In terms of production of this product, the Voronezh region is in first place in the Central Federal District and fourth in Russia. The average productivity of dairy cattle increased by 4.9% to 9,976 kg. Last year, agricultural organizations in the region produced 596.6 thousand tons of livestock and poultry for slaughter (live weight).
