Watermelon harvest has started in Adana, Turkey

Registered early watermelon harvest has started in Adana, one of Turkey's most important watermelon production centers. Watermelons sold in the field for 11-12 liras per kilo are loaded onto trucks and sent to all over Turkey. The early watermelon harvest in the city, which supplies 25 percent of the 4 million tons of watermelons produced throughout the country, started in Kapı District of Karataş district on the seaside.
