African Swine Fever

1. Hungary reports 7 outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars

On November 10 and 12, Hungary reported 7 outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars in 3 locations in Komárom County, resulting in the death of 9 wild boars.

2. Bulgaria reports 67 outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars

On November 10 and 14, Bulgaria reported 67 outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars in 6 locations in Varna Province, resulting in the death of 89 wild boars.

3. Estonia reports 2 outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars

On November 12, Estonia reported 2 outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars in 2 locations in Lääne-Viru County, resulting in the death of 2 wild boars.

4. Italy reports 7 outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars

On November 13, Italy reported 7 outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars in 2 locations in the Tuscany region, resulting in the death of 7 wild boars.

5. Serbia reports 2 outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars and 2 outbreaks in domestic pigs

On November 14, Serbia reported 2 outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars and 2 outbreaks in domestic pigs in 3 locations in Belgrade, resulting in the death of 4 wild boars and 2 domestic pigs, with 9 pigs culled.

6. Poland reports 8 outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars

On November 14, Poland reported 8 outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars in 2 locations in Lubusz Voivodeship, resulting in the death of 17 wild boars.

7. Germany reports 59 outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars

On November 14, Germany reported 59 outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars in 2 locations in Hesse, resulting in the death of 59 wild boars.

8. Romania reports 13 outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars and 7 outbreaks in domestic pigs

On November 14, Romania reported 13 outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars and 7 outbreaks in domestic pigs in 5 locations in Bacău County, resulting in the death of 13 wild boars and 12 domestic pigs, with 108 domestic pigs infected and 83 culled.

Avian Influenza

1. Germany reports 449 outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 in wild birds and 22 outbreaks in domestic poultry

On November 10, 12, and 13, Germany reported 449 outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 in wild birds and 22 outbreaks in domestic poultry in 9 locations in North Rhine-Westphalia, resulting in the infection of 475 wild birds and free-range domestic poultry, with 451 deaths and 214 culled, and the infection of 2928 domestic poultry, with 549 deaths and 227,000 culled.

2. United Kingdom reports 6 outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 in domestic poultry and 16 outbreaks in wild birds

On November 10 and 14, the United Kingdom reported 6 outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 in domestic poultry and 16 outbreaks in wild birds in 2 locations in Wales, resulting in the infection of 2456 domestic poultry, with 1355 deaths, and 34 wild birds and free-range domestic poultry infected and dead.

3. Poland reports 4 outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 in domestic poultry

On November 10, 12, and 14, Poland reported 4 outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 in domestic poultry in 3 locations in Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, resulting in the infection of 78,000 domestic poultry, with 5327 deaths.
