Bulgaria is set to allocate BGN 295 million in compensatory aid to mitigate the economic impact of the Russia-Ukraine conflict on its agricultural sector. The aid will be distributed to sensitive sectors such as animal breeding, fruit and vegetable production, and certain crops like wheat, corn, and sunflower, based on production costs. The aid rates vary for different animals and crops, with additional support for those in mountainous regions and endangered breeds. The maximum aid for one applicant in the "Grain production" sector is BGN 55,000.
