Despite a smaller harvest, prices remain unchanged for producers, with high-quality fruits sold at PLN 4.00/kg in wholesale markets. The market saturation, especially in supermarkets, is attributed to imports from Serbia and Moldova, thanks to the European Union's duty-free and unlimited import policy. Last year, Poland imported nearly 13 thousand tons of plums from Moldova, which accounted for over 10% of Poland's total production, underscoring the significant market impact.
