A group of South Korean mills have purchased approximately 32,000 tons of bread wheat from the United States at an international tender, international news agencies reported, citing sources from European trade circles. According to them, United Grain Corporation was the winner of the tender. The delivery is scheduled between July 16 and August 15 and includes 11,450 tons of white wheat with 9.5-11% protein at $232 per ton FOB, 5,750 tons of red winter wheat with at least 11.5% protein at around $234.80 per ton FOB, and 14,800 tons of dark northern spring wheat with at least 14% protein at around $271.80 per ton FOB.
