The wheat market continues at a slow pace in southern Brazil, with limited deals and prices slightly falling. According to TF Agroeconômica, the crops in Rio Grande do Sul are developing well, with recent rainfalls between 15mm and 70mm, although there are reports of lodging in some regions due to wind. About 12% of the areas are in vegetative development, 38% in flowering, 35% in grain filling, and 10% in maturation, with few areas harvested, still below 1% of the total. The tillering was considered excellent, with an expected production of over 3,200,000 tons and productivity above 3,000 kg/hectare.
