Wheat market maintains moderate pace at year-end

The wheat market registers a moderate pace at the end of the year, marked by punctual advances in commercialization and stable prices in the main producing regions. According to TF Agroeconômica, the scenario reflects cautious sales strategies and local variations in supply and demand. In Rio Grande do Sul, producers and storage operators maintain daily negotiations, but below the expected volume for the beginning of the harvest. The estimate is that 1.5 million tons have already been sold, something between 40% and 42% of the production. Prices range from 1100 to 1150 reais at local mills, while at the port, milling wheat is quoted between 1180 and 1190 reais for December and January. Feed wheat oscillates between 1120 and 1130 reais, and the price to the producer remains at 54 reais in Panambi.
