The National Supply Company (Conab) estimates that Brazil's total wheat production should slightly exceed private sector projections, reaching 7.67 million tons. The agency calculates that Rio Grande do Sul will account for 3.7 million tons, followed by Paraná with 2.5 million. Minas Gerais is expected to produce 429.7 thousand tons, Santa Catarina 392.3 thousand, and São Paulo 354.9 thousand tons.
