The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food of Spain has released a report for September 2022 that shows a 5.17% increase in beef production compared to the same period in 2021, totaling 558,585 tons. Catalonia leads in beef production with 100,446 tons, followed by Castilla y León with 91,223 tons. On the other hand, pork production has decreased by 1.45% to 3,755,646 tons. Catalonia and Castilla y León experienced a slight increase in pork production, while Aragon saw a significant drop. Sheep meat production remained stable at 90,783 tons, with Castilla y León leading in production. Poultry production also remained stable at 1,226,552 tons, but Andalucía saw an 8.2% decrease.
