A pilot project in Ky Hoa commune, Ha Tinh, Vietnam, has seen success in economic development for local farmers by planting tea trees, covering 5,000 m2 and expanding to 1.5 hectares with 12 households participating. The tea, primarily white, has shown good economic returns, with potential for further growth in both income and market demand. The project aims to provide stable raw materials for white tea production, convert crops to high-value ones, create jobs, and improve incomes. The town plans to replicate this model to establish a specialized area for local medicinal plant cultivation and develop OCOP products based on these plants.
