The Agricultural Economics Institute (AKI) of Hungary has reported a significant decrease in the prices of edible wheat, feed wheat, and feed corn compared to the previous year. The producer price of edible wheat has dropped by 19%, fodder wheat by 13%, and feed corn by 11%. The price of industrial sunflower seeds has decreased by 28%. This decrease in prices is due to a anticipated slowdown in international demand, potential record wheat harvest from Australia, and a large supply in the market. None of these prices have reached the levels of 2021.
