Wholesale pork prices continue to decline

The wholesale cost of pork half-carcasses decreased by 10% compared to the previous year for the week of November 24-30 and amounted to 180 rubles/kg, writes "Kommersant" citing monitoring by the analytical company NTech. The cost of commodity pigs decreased by 14% (119 rubles/kg) year-over-year, pork loin became cheaper by 27% (230 rubles/kg), pork neck by 24% (340 rubles), pork shoulder blade by 7% (255 rubles), pork ham by 4% (265 rubles). Only pork ribeye showed an increase in price—by 14% to 335 rubles/kg. The trend of decreasing prices for most pork items began to form in October.
