The Regulatory Council of the Protected Designation of Origin Condado de Huelva has confirmed the forecast of crop loss for this harvest, which has ended with a production decrease of between 50-60% as a result of the mildew infestation. The Regulatory Council, through a statement, explained that this percentage translates to approximately 10 million kilos of unharvested grapes. In response to this situation, the president of the Regulatory Council, Vicente Pérez García, has thanked the sensitivity and quick response of the closest administrations: the Diputación de Huelva and the Consejería de Agricultura of the Junta de Andalucía.
