Egypt: Within the crop intensification program, onions will be planted on cotton for the 2024/2025 season; the Eastern Agriculture Department is holding an advisory seminar for farmers in the village of Tal Miftah in Abu Hammad Center

Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Sharkia, stressed that the agricultural sector is one of the main pillars of the Egyptian economy and one of the most important means necessary to drive economic and social activities to achieve sustainable development goals....pointing out the importance of holding advisory seminars that help develop the agricultural sector and increase crop productivity, as well as introducing agricultural transactions to farmers to raise their standard of living and achieve self-sufficiency. For his part, Eng. Emad Mohamed Ganjan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, explained that the directorate is implementing an advisory seminar on onion cultivation within the crop intensification program, loading onions on cotton for the 2024/2025 season, Tel Miftah district, Abu Hammad Center.
