Global wheat, corn, barley, and sorghum export prices experienced a decline in January due to factors such as strong competition among exporters, improved growing conditions, and increased supplies from recent harvests, particularly in the southern hemisphere and the USA. However, the FAO All Rice Price Index saw a rise of 1.2 percent, primarily driven by an increase in higher-quality Indica rice prices, attributed to strong deliveries from Thailand and Pakistan and additional purchases from Indonesia.
