The global wheat crop for 2025/26 is expected to reach 837.8 million tons, according to an estimate by the USDA. The increase in supply has raised global stocks and caused a drop in international prices. According to the International Center for Economic Analysis and Agricultural Market Studies (CEEMA), global ending stocks are expected to reach 274.9 million tons, an increase of 14.9 million compared to the previous cycle. The greater availability of wheat in the global market is putting pressure on prices, especially for exporters.
