In the first two months of the year, Turkey exported 2.67 million 123 dollars worth of marine snails to five countries, dominating 75% of the Black Sea region's export value with 454.350 tons. The Republic of South Korea was the largest buyer, followed by China, Taiwan, Japan, and Bulgaria. DKİB Chairman Saffet Kalyoncu pointed out the need for regulatory changes to increase exports, suggesting a lifting of the fishing ban to maintain a balance and ensure a steady supply.
