The harvest of Yalova's geographically marked kiwi fruit began with a ceremonial event. The celebration was held in a kiwi orchard in Yalova's Altınova district, where producers experienced the joy of the harvest. Speaking at the event, Yalova's Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, Mustafa İlmeç, said, "Yalova produces approximately 15 percent of the kiwi fruit produced in our country alone. Due to the high land prices in our province, our producers have also established orchards in nearby provinces such as Bursa and Sakarya to continue production.
