[Nongsuchaksan Newspaper=Reporter Nara Park] Yesan County, in collaboration with the Korea Traditional Liquor Research Institute, is set to launch a traditional liquor education program aimed at preserving and developing local traditional fermentation culture. The county announced on the 18th that the Korea Traditional Liquor Research Institute will operate the "2025 Gayanjju (including Chaereju) Brewing Education Program" from September 3 to November 26. This education program targets 24 individuals, including Yesan County residents and local office workers, with participants required to cover a material cost of 50,000 won per person. The Korea Traditional Liquor Research Institute, established in 1999 as the nation's first specialized education institution for traditional liquor, has been at the forefront of activities to preserve and recreate Gayanjju and to research and popularize Korean liquor.
