Armenia has refuted claims by the Russian Federation's Union of Cognac Producers and the international association "Anti-counterfeit" that nearly all Armenian cognac sold in Russia is unsafe and contains non-grape spirits, reaching up to 90%. The Ministry of Economy of Armenia has not received any official notifications from Russia about these quality issues. The study conducting the findings purchased over 200 samples from more than 20 brands across 10 major Armenian producers, analyzed by an independent laboratory.
