Corn and soybean producers in Mozambique's Alto Molócuè district have seen profit exceed 5 million meticais from the marketing of these crops. The district sold over 245 thousand tons of various products, including fruits, with plans to sell more before the campaign ends. The increase in production is driven by the poultry and milling industries. Soybeans are sold to agricultural companies for feed, while the rest is exported to Asia. However, the poor condition of access roads is making transport operations more expensive and preventing transporters from reaching areas with the greatest agricultural potential.
