The report provides an overview of maize grain and maize flour prices in various urban markets across Zimbabwe, including Mbare in Harare, Kombayi in Gweru, Sakubva in Mutare, Mucheke in Masvingo, Renkini in Bulawayo, and Gwanda markets. The data is compared to both five-year average prices and prices from the previous year, with the markets representing the main supply points for these staple foods in their respective regions. The report also notes the change in Zimbabwe's monetary system from a multicurrency system to one based on the Zimbabwean dollar (ZWL) in early 2019.
