REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Coordinating Minister for Food, Zulkifli Hasan, said the government targets self-sufficiency in protein within one to two years. He conveyed that this acceleration is a priority for President Prabowo Subianto to strengthen national food sovereignty. The main focus includes accelerating the production of eggs, chickens, fish, as well as the construction of fish ponds and feed factories. Zulkifli said various strategic steps have been prepared so that Indonesia no longer depends on protein imports.
