Global Production has gone in the last 10 years from 29.66 M to 38 M MT. As of 2019, Mexico is the top global exporter of bell pepper. In 2020, Mexico accounted for 23.5% of the global export share, followed by Spain (22.5%) and the Netherlands (19%). Although the US remains the largest consumer and importer of bell pepper, the largest import growth is in the European Union in countries such as the Netherlands, Germany and France.
