Turkiye: Aquatic products exports reach 1 billion 404 million dollars in 10 months

Türkiye is running from success to success in aquaculture exports. The aquaculture industry, one of the star sectors of exports, added a new link to its success in the January-October period of 2023. Turkey's aquatic products exports increased by 6 percent in the January-October period of 2023, from 1 billion 321 million dollars to 1 billion 404 million dollars. $947 million of Turkey's aquatic products exports were carried out by members of the Aegean Fisheries and Animal Products Exporters' Association. The Aegean Region received a 68 percent share of aquatic products exports. While sea bass maintained its top place in seafood exports with an amount of 435 million dollars, Turkey earned 353 million dollars in foreign currency income from sea bream exports.
