Inspections in the Tretyakov and Kulundinsky regions of Russia have uncovered discrepancies in the production dates of a batch of frozen trout and sausages transported from Kazakhstan. The goods, which were transported without the necessary veterinary certificates, were in violation of Eurasian Economic Union legislation and were subsequently returned to Kazakhstan. Administrative offenses have been initiated against the carriers. Since 2024, interdepartmental cooperation has prevented over 72 tons of livestock products and 123 horses from being illegally transported across the Russian State Border.
