18 tons of young fish were released into reservoirs in Kyiv and Kirovohrad regions in Ukraine

In the Kyiv region, 33.2 thousand silver carp, 22.6 thousand carp, and 3.2 thousand grass carp were released into the Grechanogrebelsk reservoir, weighing a total of 6.9 tons. This was reported by the State Fish Agency. The Belotserkivsk Upper Reservoir also received 5.4 tons of young fish: 33 thousand silver carp, 10 thousand carp, and 2.5 thousand grass carp. The weight of the fish stock reached 110-140 g. The stocking was carried out at the expense of users of special commercial fisheries. And in the Kirovohrad region, 500 thousand UAH were allocated from the regional budget for stocking the Kremenchuk and Kamiansk reservoirs in accordance with the Comprehensive Program for Environmental Protection of the Region for 2021-2025.
