The Fisheries Committee of Kazakhstan's Ministry of Agriculture has commissioned the stocking of the Nura River reserve sections in the Abay and Nurinsky districts of the Karaganda region with 300,000 carp yearlings, as part of a state order for 2024 aimed at repopulating fish in the Nura-Sarysu basin. This operation, to be conducted by Karaganda Fish Hatchery LLP on August 28, is a part of a larger initiative to restock various basins across Kazakhstan, including Balkhash-Alakol, Aral-Syrdarya, Zaisan-Ertis, and Yesil, as reported by Agrosektor.kz.
