In November, Turkey's fresh fruit and vegetable exports reached 367 million 940 thousand dollars, with the European Union, Commonwealth of Independent States, and Middle East countries being the primary markets, according to Nejdat Sin, President of the Mediterranean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters' Association. The highest exports were to Russia, with 137.6 million dollars, followed by Ukraine with 39.5 million dollars and Iraq with 31 million dollars. Mandarin was the leading product with 116.5 million dollars in exports, followed by lemon and grapes. The export volume was bolstered by increased shipments of carrots, radishes, chestnuts, apples, zucchini, and pears.
