China: 5.7 tons of Tianshui cherries were exported for the first time and arrived in Singapore by air within 24 hours

On May 23, the departure ceremony for Tianshui cherries to be exported to Singapore was held in the China (Tianshui) Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone. This is not only the first time that Tianshui cherries have been exported overseas, but also the first time that cherries have been exported and sold in the northwest region. According to reports, the first export of cherries totaled 5.7 tons, with an export value of US$84,000, equivalent to RMB 607,000. These cherries came from the export cherry base in Huaniu Town, Maiji District, Tianshui City, and were exported by Tianshui Junze International Trade Co., Ltd. The customer's intended order is as high as 50 tons, and it is expected that all shipments will be completed before the end of the cherry season at the end of June.
