The city of Gaziantep in Turkey, known for its inclusion in the "Creative Cities Network" for gastronomy by UNESCO, is currently in its final harvest of the season for mint. Mint is a significant flavor in Gaziantep and is grown extensively in the Nizip and Karkamış districts along the Euphrates River. Mint production has been steadily increasing, with 20 thousand tons expected to be harvested from 8 thousand 630 decares in 2022, and it is also exported to countries such as Jordan, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, and the USA.
