The Ministry of Religion in Indonesia revealed that around 6,500 officers and Hajj pilgrims distributed their dams to government-recommended slaughterhouses, resulting in the slaughter of 4,500 goats. The meat was then packaged and sent to Indonesia, with some being distributed domestically. The government is focusing on ensuring the meat is safely packaged and free from disease. The Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture also discussed potential collaboration with a slaughterhouse in Makkah to employ 1,500 slaughter workers from Indonesia next year.
